Transferred Home!

What up my dudes! It's ya boy, (Elder) Dane Durante, home and in good health. The world is goin' pretty crazy with the whole COVID-19/coronavirus thing and because of it, everything is shut down. My first two weeks back were nothin but staying home in quarantine to keep me away from everybody and everything. After the first week of being home, I received a phone call from President Astle (my stake president) telling me that I am officially released of my missionary duties. He urged me to keep up the missionary mindset and continually prepare for when I go back out! Since there are a butt-load of returned missionaries here in St.George, we are all a part of an institute class that we take via video chat every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. As of today, being over 3 weeks since I've been back, I still do not have a phone and I have plenty of free time. I've worked a lot in our store (The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory), I built a raised garden bed with my dad for my Uncle Mack, and I even had the opportunity to serve dinner at Switchpoint (a local homeless shelter). The curve on the corona is declining and my willingness to get out and serve again is increasing exponentially. All I know is I'm gonna go back out into the mission field the first chance I get and nothing is gonna stop me!
