So, some appointments fell through and we had some extra time on our hands so we went contacting. Not much success. As we were going home, we got near our house and I saw a neighbor lady with her kids kind of glance at us so I thought we should go talk to her. We ended up teaching her! Her family is awesome and they are very interested in the gospel. Later that day, we were on the way to another appointment and we passed a kid about our age and I felt that we should talk to him and he was really excited about our church! I guess that's the key, listen to the spirit and follow the promptings.

I went on splits with Elder Siqueda (zone leader, Elder Welch's comp) and I learned tons! I think he is going to be an apostle some day. He totally marks up his Bible and Book of Mormon with tabs, highlights, cross-references, etc and then he gives them away to missionaries or whoever he feels needs them. He taught me so much!

We had stake conference this week and we saw President and Sister Lago. We told them about our rash that we have had for about 2 weeks and Sister Lago said that we need to go to the hospital - so we did. The doctor examined us and was more worried about my sunburn than my rash. He said I'm going to get cancer. I told him that I will be careful and to please check my rash. He dismissed the rash and was so preoccupied with my sunburn. He pointed to his skin and said "good skin" and then pointed to mine and said "cancer skin". I was thinking that I have never been so tan. He finally gave me and Elder Bustamante an ointment for our rash.
I had been scratching a bit
