"Emergency Transfer"

So I'm going to just give y'all a rundown of what happened this past week because I don’t have too much time. The week was good and we had the opportunity to baptize Paulo Rodriguez dos Santos Jr. But without us knowing, the bishop in the ward was interviewing our investigators, only the district leader, zone leaders or the mission president are supposed to interview new converts over the age of 8. He has also called Presidente Lago 3 times this past month to complain about the rules and orders we have. Well, I got a call this last Saturday from Presidente Lago and the zone leaders asking me about Junior and if he is drinking coffee. I told them the truth, he drinks cervada (a coffee substitute we gave him) and that he is more than ready to be baptized. I received another call that night from the zone leaders saying that I will be leaving the area the next day and that I need to start packing my bags. The next morning we went to church and baptized Paulo (Junior) and then later my comp and I packed everything up, left Sobral at 11:30 pm, and arrived in Teresina at 5:50 am. We got to the mission office and Presidente Lago said we did nothing wrong and that "the Lord's house is a house of order”. So that area is not going to have full-time missionaries right now. He then went on to say that I'll travel with my comp to Floriano and "oh yeah, you're going to be a district leader" lol. So that's all that went down this week and I’ll see y'all next week hopefully!

Junior actually helped build the font years ago. This week he got baptized in it!
