Yes, yes I know. Another week, another baptism – haha jkjk. His name is Kaua Alves Sousa and he is 12 years old. Anyways this week was surprisingly really good! I'm actually starting to get used to living and withstanding meu filho amado (my beloved son) and we're putting in work. My son, Elder Proença, was really sick this week and I literally stayed in the house for two days straight cause I couldn't leave him alone. It's all good though.
This is Juvenal, the ward mission leader, with us. He's the best!
The two funniest and best stories I got for this week would have to be how crazy the rain has been, like dang! The streets were flooded up to my shins and it was not my favorite when these big cargo trucks destroyed me with a wave of water from the road that I couldn’t evade.
The other story was actually the day of the baptism. We visited Kaua's house to talk to his mom cause I haven't really yet, but she didn't want to talk to us at all. It came to the time we were picking him up to go to the baptism and I was like, “dude we need to know if your mom's fine with this". He entered the house, came out and said, "my mom said that she already signed the paper and doesn’t want to talk to you" lol. So I was like "ight bet" and we baptized him. My son baptized him....twice lol. Cause Kaua’s leg was above the water the first time. But yeah, that's about everything for this week. Tchau!
